Vermont College Grants and LoansVermont GrantsVermont Incentive Grants Vermont residents planning on studying full time, who don't already have a bachelor's degree, may be eligible for these grants. The awards range from $700 to $11,200 and depend on financial need. Students must submit a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and a Vermont Grant Application.Vermont Part-Time Grants Vermont residents who are planning on studying part time in a bachelor's or certificate program may be eligible for this grant. These grants are also based on need and to apply, students must submit a Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) and a Vermont Grant Application. Vermont Non-Degree Grants Vermont residents in a non-degree course that will improve employability or encourage further study is eligible to apply for a Vermont Non-Degree Grant. The amount of the awards is determined each year by VSAC. Students can pick up applications at the Vermont Department of Employment and Training offices, vocational centers, other schools, and the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation.
Vermont LoansVSAC Advantage Loan Vermont residents or those attending school in Vermont may be eligible for the VSAC Loans. There are other requirements for the loans. The amounts can run from $200 up to the cost of your education minus any other aid you receive.
