Washington ScholarshipsAmerican Indian Endowed Scholarship This scholarship assists financially needy Washington residents who have close social and cultural ties to a Native American community. Applicants must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered. The scholarship amounts range from $500 to $1,000 and are renewable.
Kids Chance of Washington Scholarships Children or spouses of Washington state workers who were injured or killed on the job are eligible for this scholarship. There are other requirments, visit the Kids Chance of Washington website.
Costco Scholarship Fund Costco and the Washington Education Foundation have partnered to provide scholarships for highly-qualified minority undergrads who will be attending either Seattle University or the University of Washington in Western Washington. More information is available at the financial aid offices at the two schools.
Governor's Scholarship Program This program aims to assist those Washington children who have been in foster care and are at an age where they will be leaving it to enroll in and complete degrees or certificates at eligible colleges in Washington.
Washington Promise Scholarships These scholarships have been eliminated and will not be available beyond 2005.
Washington State Achievers Scholarships Juniors at one of the one of the 16 Achievers High Schools in Washington may be eligible for the Washington State Achievers Scholarships, which are part of a package from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to help redesign high schools, provide early impetus to guide low income students towards college, and to provide them the means (through scholarships) to go.
There are more than fifty Washington colleges, universities and community colleges where the scholarships may be used.

Florence Jessen Scholarship This scholarship is for seniors graduating from Stevenson High School and is awarded through the Community Foundation. Applications and further information and requirements may be downloaded from the Community Foundation website.
