The New Century Scholarship Program This scholarship is for students who are able to complete an associates program by September 1 of the year their class graduates from high school. This award can equal 75% of an eligible student's tuition cost for up to two years (60 credit hours) at any of Utah's state operated colleges or universities offering bachelor's programs. Centennial Scholarship High school students who plan to graduate early may be eligible for this scholarship. They can earn up to $250 for each quarter they graduate early from high school. Students must let their principal know of their early graduation plans at the beginning of the ninth grade or as soon as the plan is known. They must complete a Student Education Occupation Plan (SEOP) which maps out their study plans. Maximum award is $1000 for a student graduating during their junior year.

Young Humanitarian Award YouthLINC, in partnership with Chase, the Deseret Morning News and XMission, are offering this annual scholarship to Utah students who have shown extraordinary effort in giving back to their communities. Utah residents in high school, or undergrad college programs may be eligible for the scholarships.

The winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship. Four runnersup will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. More information on qualifications and requirements can be found at http://www.youthlinc.org/apply/index.html.
