Oregon ScholarshipsEarly Bird ScholarshipsOregon uses a single scholarship application for over 3,200 individual awards that you can fill out online at the Oregon Financial Aid website www.GetCollegeFunds.org. The due date for the application is March 1. Applicants who submit their completed applications by the February 15, “Early Bird” deadline are entered into drawings for 19 $500 awards. These awards are grouped by various college populations and GPA ranges to ensure all students have a chance at being selected.
Ford Scholars Program This scholarship is need based and is sponsored by The Ford Family Foundation of Roseburg, Oregon. Students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1. Recipients should be high school seniors entering a four year program or community college students about to transfer into a four year program. There are more requirements.
Ford Opportunity Scholarship Program Program This scholarship is need based and is sponsored by The Ford Family Foundation of Roseburg, Oregon. Students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1. Recipients should be single parents with custody of their dependent children and be the head of household. There are more requirements.
Stand for Children "Beat the Odds" Scholarship Award Program Funded by the Oregon Stand for Children Leadership Center, this scholarship will be awarded to three Oregon college-bound, public school students who have succeeded despite personal hardships.
