Nebraska ScholarshipsJean & Richard Rawson Scholarship (UNK) Funded by a gift from Jean Rawson, this scholarship is for Nebraska residents and the amount will be up to $2000 per year, renewable for 4 years. To apply a student must submit to the University of Nebraska at Kearney Office of Admission by February 1, 2006 a completed admissions application, test scores and high school transcript with class rank included. To renew, the student must maintain either a 3.0 or a 3.25 grade point average, depending upon the amount of the scholarship and must pass successfully 24 or more semester hours each academic year.Nebraska Legacy Scholarship This scholarship will pay the difference between resident and non-resident tuition for those students who have a parent that graduated from one of the University of Nebraska campuses. The student must rank in the upper 1/3 of their high school graduating class or have a composite ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1100. The student must be admitted by May 1, 2006. Access College Early (ACE) Scholarship Program High school students who are taking post secondary courses at a Nebraska based college or university and who qualifies for certain federal benefits programs like Food Stamps, SSI, Special SUpplemental Nutrition Program or others, may be eligible to receive the Access College Early Scholarship.
