Montana ScholarshipsMontana University System (MUS) Honor Scholarship Seniors graduating from accredited Montana high schools may be eligible for the MUS Honor Scholarships which pay for tuition and fees at a Montana University. This scholarship is renewable for up to 8 semesters.
Resident Freshman University Scholarships Make sure your ACT/SAT scores are sent to Montana State University as soon as possible. Depending on your scores, this scholarship could be worth up to $10,000 over 4 years.
2 Plus 2 Honor Scholarship Students graduating with an Associates Degree from a Montana University/Community College, who wish to continue into a four year program may be eligible to receive this scholarship which is a tuition waiver and may be renewable for up to four semesters. Community College Honor Scholarship Graduates from a Montana Community College can receive a one year tuition and fee waiver for their first year at a Montana University System campus.
Governor's Best and Brightest Scholarship This program is divided into three separate scholarships: Merit Scholarships, Merit-at-Large Scholarships and Need-Based Scholarships. The requirements are different for each.
The Merit Scholarship is for students graduating and planning to attend a Montana two- or four- year school. Each Montana high school may award one Merit Scholarship.
The Merit-at-Large Scholarship is aimed at graduating high school students, as well as students already attending college. Those who are home-schooled or attended non-traditional schools may also apply.
The Need-based Scholarships are based solely on financial need and students should visit the financial aid office at the school they will be attending to apply.
