Maine ScholarshipsQuality Child Care Education Scholarship Childcare professionals studying at a post secondary level to advance their careers are eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship will pay for up to two courses per semester, including tuition, books and fees with a maximum of $500 per course. This is a need based award and one of the requirements is your federal Adjusted Gross Income must be no more than 300% of federal poverty guidelines.
Doctors for Maine's Future Scholarship This scholarship will provide 50% of the cost of attendance annually, with a $25,000 annual maximum per student, for those eligible students entering qualifying Maine-based medical school programs. Eligible institutions are the Maine Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program and the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. NextGen Access Scholarship Program This scholarship provides funds for students otherwise ineligible for State financial assistance. Students attending in-state institutions are eligible for $250-$1,000. Students attending out-of-state-institutions are eligible for $250-$500. The financial aid officer at each school makes the selection.
