Idaho Scholarships

Governor's Cup Scholarship (formerly Governor's Challenge) Idaho seniors planning on attending an Idaho college or university may be eligible for the $3,000 Governor's Cup Scholarships. The scholarships may be renewable for up to four years or three years for career techincal education. Applicants must also plan on attending full time and have at least a 2.8 GPA. Tschudy Family Scholarship This scholarship is for students graduating from Emmett High School. Based on merit as well as financial need, the scholarship is for $2,500 and is renewable for up to 5 years of undergraduate study and two years of graduate work. Robert R. Lee Promise Category A Scholarship
This scholarship appears to not be available anymore. On the Idaho Board of Education scholarship page, there is the following:
Recognition of Senator Robert R. Lee
The Board wants to extend thanks to the late Senator Robert Lee from Rexburg who was instrumental in securing significant state funding for scholarships in the early 2000s.

Formerly known as the State of Idaho Scholarship, the Promise provides approximately 25 new scholarships each year. They are worth $3,000 each and are renewable for up to four years. Requirements include being an Idaho resident, graduating from an Idaho high school, enrolling full time in an eligible Idaho college or university, and graduating in the top 10% of your class with at least a 3.5 GPA and an ACT score of at least 28.


Idaho Opportunity Scholarship To apply for this scholarship, you must be an Idaho resident grduating from an Idaho high school with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, submit the FAFSA by March 1 and you must also submit the online Idaho Opportunity Scholarship Application. Applications for next year will be available on October 1, 2017. Check the Idaho Opportunity Scholarship webpage for more details and requirements.
