California ScholarshipsHPEF Pre-Nursing Scholarship Program This program is administered by the California Health Professions Education Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to pre-nursing students attending school in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced or Tulare counties. students who will be entering an Associate Degree Nursing program within one year. Scholarship amounts are up to $4,000 per year. Students receiving the scholarship would have a one year service obligation.HPEF Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship Program This program is administered by the California Health Professions Education Foundation. Nursing students entering or enrolled in a Associate Degree Nursing program in California and who agree to obtain a bachelor's degree at a nursing program in California within five years of obtaining their associate degree in nursing are eligible for this scholarship. Awards may be up to $8,000 per year and there would be a two year service obligation. California Credit Union Annual College Scholarship Program The CCU will be awarding 75 $1,000 scholarships to members of the credit union who are graduating high school or to non-members who are residents of Los Angeles County, either grduating high school or moving from a community college to a four year program. A 3.0 GPS is required and receipients must be attending an accredited college or university.
