Arkansas Scholarships

Governor’s Scholars Program These are merit scholarships that are given yearly to at least 75 of Arkansas' outstanding high school graduates. To receive the award, the student must atend an approved Arkansas college or university. Applications can be found at your high school counselor's office and must be submitted by February 1.


Arkansas Community Foundation The foundation administers and awards more than 250 scholarships annually to Arkansas students. To search through the ACF scholarships, visit http://www.arcf.org/page12788.cfm.


Military (formerly MIA/KIA) Dependents Scholarship Program This program provides tuition and fees at any Arkansas state college, university or technical institute for anyone whose parent or spouse is MIA, KIA, killed in the course of duty or declared to be 100% permanently disabled due to service connection. There may be other requirements. You can download an application at the Arkansas Higher Ed website.


Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship (ACS) The award for this program depends on the ACT composite score as well as the student's GPA in the Arkansas Pre-Collegiate Core Curriculum. The award is up to $3500 per academic year and is renewable. There are other requirements for this scholarship.
