Oregon LoansUniversity of Oregon Student Loan Program Generally this is a program for those students who are not currently eligible for Federal Loan programs. There are also cases where the Financial Aid office can approve supplemental UO Loans even for students who are receiving Federal Loans. The loans are not cheap, so should be a last resort. Current interest rates are 10% and there is also a $10 monthly fee. These loans are not subsidized, so repayment must begin immediately. Contact the University of Oregon Financial Aid office for more information. For more information on Oregon state grants and loans, please visit the Oregon Student Assistance Paying for College page.
