Hispanic Scholarship FundIf you are of Hispanic heritage, are a US citizen OR legal permanent resident, have at least a 3.0 (out of 4.0) GPA and are planning to attend college as an undergraduate or graduate student you may be eligible for these scholarships. Students wishing to apply must also submit the FAFSA. These scholarships are only for those students who are pursuing their first college degree. Scholarship award amounts range from $1,000-$15,000 with the average for a 4 year student being $2,500 and a 2 year student $1,250.Among the scolarships available through the Hispanic Scholarship Fund are the Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS), Scholarship Programs for Graduating High School Seniors, College Scholarship Programs, Community College Transfer Scholarship Programs and the University Alliance Scholarship Programs. Each of these have their own additional qualifications,requirements and deadlines, so you should check at the Hispanic Scholarship Fund website.
