Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education ProgramThis program was established by Congress in 1986 to honor Senator Goldwater for his years of service to the country. It's intended purpose is to supply scholarships to students who are going to be juniors or seniors and are intending a career in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering.There will be about 300 Goldwater Scholarships awarded and they will cover expenses such as tuition, fees, books and room and board and can be for up to $7,500.
