Connecticut College Grants and LoansConnecticut GrantsCT Aid for Public College Students Connecticut residents attending a Connecticut 2- or 4-year public college or university may be eligible for the Aid for Public College Students. Applicants must fill out the FAFSA and contact their school's financial aid office. This grant depends on financial need.
Connecticut Independent College Connecticut Minority Teacher Incentive Grant Nominees for this grant must be full time juniors or seniors studying in an undergrad teacher preparation program. The college education deans must nominate student. Applications are due by October 1.
Connecticut LoansConnecticut Family Education Loan Program (CT FELP) This loan program is available to families with a student studying at least half-time in a Connecticut non-profit college or any Connecticut resident enrolled half-time or more in a non-profit college within the U.S. Interest rate currently is 5.5% and only interest is paid while student is still in school.
