Arizona College Grants and LoansArizona GrantsBureau of Indian Affairs Tribal Higher Education Grants These grants are available to those who can show that they are members or descendents of an American Indian tribe or nation. Thye are based on financial need. You can get more information at the Bureau of Indian Affairs website.Arizona Private Postsecondary Education Student Financial Assistance (PFAP) This is a grant program based on financial need for eligible Arizona community college graduates who enroll as a full-time student in a bachelor's program at an approved private postsecondary educational institution. Arizona College Access Aid Program (ACAAP) The ACAAP is part of the College Access Challenge Grant which will assist financially needy sophomore, junior or senior students with up to a $2,000 grant. Arizona LoansArizona Medical Student Loan Program No funding approved for the 2010-2011 academic year. Arizona residents studying at the University of Arizona College of Medicine or Midwestern University's Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine may be eligible for this loan program. Once licensed, the borrower can have the loans forgiven by serving in an approved location for a specified term. For one or two year loans, the service period is two years. Over two years, the commitment is one year for each year of loans. The penalty for not fulfilling the service commitment is severe, so don't consider the loan unless you will definitely do the necessary service.
