AES Student Loans

The AES, or American Education Services, is a division of PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) and is one of the largest student lenders in the country. It's lending portfolio includes Stafford Loans, Parent PLUS Loans, Graduate PLUS Loans,Alternative Loans and the KeystoneBEST Loan Program.

KeystoneBEST Loan Program

The KeystoneBEST Loan Program provides student loans at reduced costs for Pennsylvania students. The PHEAA pays the 1% federal default fee for lenders taking part in the KeystoneBEST Loan program. Special requirements include:
Students must be either a Pennsylvania resident attending any accredited school (regardless of location) or be an out-of-state resident attending an approved school in Pennsylvania. These KeystoneBEST loans are available for Stafford Loans, PLUS Loans for Parents and Graduate PLUS Loans.
