Nevada Prepaid Tuition ProgramThis program allows you to lock in the price f a college education by paying for it now. You don't have to buy the whole four years...the program allows you to purchase one, two or four years tuition for either university or community college. You can even purchase two and two, which will pay for the first two years at a community college and then the next two years at a college or university. Payments can be set up to be a one time payment, 5 year payment plan or as long term payments. The money doesn't need to be used at Nevada colleges, but can be used at eligible in-state or out-of-state colleges and universities, whether public or private. Visit http://www.nevadatreasurer.gov for more details. You should also check with a financial advisor and tax advisor to see if a 529 investment is right for you.
